The FHWien University of Applied Sciences of WKW is a young and dynamic institution which has already developed a distinctive international profile. International experience has become one of the most important requirements for our students, regardless of their age and origin. This kind of experience primarily enhances the students' understanding when dealing with other cultures and the accompanying customs and attitudes.
The FHWien University of Applied Sciences of WKW helps both outgoing and incoming exchange students develop these skills. Due to the diverse backgrounds of our incoming exchange students (France, Russia, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, USA, Hungary, and others), our university offers instruction in numerous languages – in addition to German, our students study English, French, Spanish, Russian, Czech, Slovakian and Hungarian. We place great emphasis on ensuring that our students are able to communicate as effectively as possible in the international context.
